Solicitor - Childcare

A well known high street legal practice providing a full remit of legal services across the West Sussex region based across a number of locations in the county. The firm are both financially secure and looking to develop the business even further and expand a number of departments to deal with an increasing number of enquiries. The firm have an excellent family law department with childcare being an area of particular expertise within that team with three key individuals taking on this work out of the Worthing office. The team act for parents, other family members, and children themselves, with a number of our practitioners being members of the Law Society’s Children Panel. 

The opportunity provides an environment equally for an experienced individual to join the team and work among a group of talented peers just as it would provide an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and developing childcare practitioner to come on board and benefit from the in depth levels expertise that exist at the firm and all within one location. All manner of casework is dealt with in relation to The Children Act 1989 and as a minimum you should have a good grounding in this area of law with at least a years experience in dealing with your own files as a qualified practitioner. With the firm's desire to grow the department the key requirement is a committed individual with high levels of professionalism and a genuine desire to contribute to that growth and future prosperity of the team. 

While the main team are based at Worthing. with several locations across West Sussex to choose form individuals who are already long established childcare solicitors may prefer to be based at one of the firm's other West Sussex locations. Competitive rates of pay are available (the above figures are merely a guide) with the partners  happy to consider higher rates based upon existing billings and appropriate experience.
