Job: Childcare Solicitor – Legal 500 – UK Wide Practice
Fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor to join this highly regarded UK wide firm with a Shrewsbury based office and to work closely with a local client base. This firm have a fantastic reputation and have a strong management team that offer a clear direction for the firm as well as ensuring they are always progressing.
This practice have a strong focus on Family Law with the department being their largest and most successful. In total there are 7 fee earners plus Paralegal & Legal Secretary support. As a Solicitor you will be expected to deal with a caseload of Care matters with a mix of private & public paying matters. You will be joining a strong team with recognised Lawyers & Partners that are always available to discuss any ongoing matters and provide guidance when needed.
Ideally you will have a background in Childcare and able to run your own caseload however it would be advantageous if you were an accredited Children's Panel member. Advocacy is required for this position, so it is essential that you are a comfortable advocate and able to deal with Legal Aid Procedures / CCMS.
Salary will be based on existing PQE level and there will be an added benefits package in place. There will be further opportunities to develop your career and progress within the department. As this is a local practice, there is the opportunity to have flexibility on start / finish times and perform in a relaxed working environment.
