The Role:
As an Employment Solicitor/Associate, you will predominantly focus on employer-related matters within their Employment department. This full-time position entails handling various aspects of employment law, including advising clients, managing your caseload, and supporting the Head of Department with complex matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive advice and guidance to clients on employment law and HR-related issues.
- Drafting and amending legal documentation, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Offering corporate support on employment matters arising from transactional work, such as due diligence and negotiation of warranties.
- Defending claims brought before the Employment Tribunal, including advising on merits, preparing documentation, and attending hearings.
- Contributing to firm publications, client seminars, and business development initiatives.
- Engaging with prospective clients to promote our employment law services.
